- Arthur's was formed in 2002 when Tony Park took over a small round from Lizzie Hughes (See below). Since then, we have expanded to a full time business with a wide product range. - Our boxes are packed by Hughes Organics, at Besthorpe, Attleborough, with Soil Association certified fruit and vegetables, using local produce in season whenever available. It is managed by Grahame and Lizzie Hughes, who have over 25 years experience growing and selling organic vegetables in Norfolk. - You are guaranteed good food which has not been treated with artificial chemicals or using Genetic Modification – benefiting you and the environment. - Tony is very passionate about all things Green. He's been working with organic products since 1985 when he opened Arthur’s Wholefoods in Dereham. In 2002 he moved to the South of Norfolk and started working for one of his previous suppliers: Grahame Hughes. In 2003 he started delivering boxes in South Norfolk and as a business we have grown from there. - As a keen environmentalist he believes that the traditional box scheme is vital as it supports organic farming and local producers, and respects environmental concerns wherever possible. At Arthurs’s we have responded to the needs of the modern customer so are pleased to also offer a ‘choose your own’ service, and are happy to deliver fortnightly if a weekly service does not suit.
